Wednesdays @ Westminster have something for everyone! From children’s choirs to Children’s & Family Ministry programs, Food & Fellowship, Veritas Youth Group, Bible studies, and more, make plans to be here.

The first 6 weeks (Aug 26-Sept 30) will be on Galatians, followed by a three-week series titled “An Introduction to Joy.”

Junior Choir – Rm 268 (Choir Room)

Our choirs are open to church members and others from the community. No auditions required—just a love of music and the desire to glorify God. Children’s choirs (Cherub Choir grades K-2 and Junior Choir grades 3-6). Children’s choirs lead worship on the second Sunday of the month, October-May.

5 years through 2nd Grade in Room 233

Come hang out at Kids’ Connection, a time for children from 5 years old through 2nd grade to play, wonder about Bible stories, connect with God, and connect with each other. Kids will learn a new Bible story each week as they hear the story and engage in activities.

Third and fourth graders at Kids’ Connection will continue to develop their faith as they explore key themes such as how to read the Bible, what it means to welcome all or follow Jesus, parables, prayer, and more.

JAM is Westminster’s youth group for 5th and 6th graders. This fun and active group gathers each week to spend time in fellowship and fun while wondering about what it means to live out our faith.

Veritas maintains the goal of bringing Christ to kids in a way that inspires their minds and fills their hearts with the love of God in a fun and exciting way. A strong faith is as important as ever as our world changes around us. Read more about Youth Ministry here.

But amid the constant stream of headlines, Scripture can help us find hope, offering wisdom and encouragement as we persevere and navigate our daily walk of faith. Wired Word is an adult study group that brings current events and Scripture into conversation, creating space to reflect together on what is happening in our world and what our faith might have to say about it.

Taizé worship services are characterized by their simplicity, which allows for a meditative and contemplative experience. Our service will include sung prayers, silence, and scripture readings.

Format: No preparation or commitment are required. One Hit Wonders are open to the community. Remain after dinner or gather at 6:15 in Fellowship Hall. Each speaker will lead a discussion and facilitate some interaction with you. How does this story inspire you and your faith?
