“I’ve been looking forward to this event since last year’s ended. It was a great way to unplug from the chaos of a busy fall schedule. It’s a nice mix of quiet reflection, group discussion, and bonding that left me feeling closer to God and closer to other members of our congregation, some of whom I had not met until that day.”
We all need a break now and then, time to allow the spirit to replenish our spirits. Taking time to break from our routines, to make time for God, will rejuvenate our tired souls. If you have a desire to be closer to God, please come and join others from Westminster Church for a Day Away, a spiritual retreat, at the Spiritan Center in Bethel Park on Friday, September 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
During our time together we will enjoy warm hospitality and engage in small group discussion as we walk the beautiful grounds. This gives us time for quiet reflection. The theme this year is taken from Henri Nouwen’s book Life of the Beloved: Spiritual Living in a Secular World. Visit our website for details and registration here.
