Join us for contemplative worship centered on the themes of healing and wholeness, featuring candlelight, songs, scripture, time for silent reflection with singing bowls, prayer, and laying on of hands for those who would like to participate. “Laying on of hands” is a practice in the Presbyterian tradition where we simply place a hand on a person’s shoulder as a representation of God’s Spirit resting on them. It is a powerful reminder of the prayers of the community and God’s presence with us as we cry out to God.
