Come Sing With Us at Westminster!
Scripture shows that singing to God is both ordained and encouraged — from the Psalms to the New Testament, it is presented as a commanded and vital part of worship. Whether in personal devotion or corporate praise, singing is a biblical mandate for God’s people. And, it’s fun!
Cherub Choir (grades K-2) Rm. 176, and Junior Choir (grades 2-7) Rm. 268
Wednesdays from 4:45-5:30 p.m.; first practice is Wednesday, August 26
Choir teaches collaborative belonging and shared purpose, active listening, interdependence and musical skills.
The Cherub and Junior Choirs will lead worship (sing!) on the second Sunday of the month, and on the annual Christmas concert (December 13).
Chancel Choir – ages 16-90!
Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
First rehearsal: Thursday, August 27, Rm. 268
All are welcome to join our Chamily (Choir Family) for music and fellowship. We welcome all voices, and are especially interested in basses and baritones. The Chancel Choir leads worship at the 11:00 worship services. We practice at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.
