Neighbors Don't Let Neighbors Go Hungry

SHIM serves 2,500 individuals monthly through three food pantries in Bethel Park, Whitehall, and Baldwin. Half of pantry recipients are refugee/immigrant families and 35% children. Suburban poverty and food insecurity are real issues addressed every day by SHIM.

Most Needed Items:
• Pet food for cats & dogs (open bags accepted)
• Personal care items (shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine pads, etc.)
• Dried beans and lentils
• Rice
• Pasta sauce in jars
• Cereal and oatmeal
• Soup (especially low sodium)
• Adult diapers, especially L and XL
• Diapers sizes 3-6
• Baby food
