DESCRIPTION:Thirty Minutes of Exceptional Organ Music\nThursdays at 5:00 p.m.\nJune 25 – July 16 \nGalbreath Chapel\nFree admission \nThe 16th season of Organ Summer features the beautiful Taylor and Boody organ in Westminster’s Galbreath Chapel. The more intimate space and excellent acoustics will make this petite series extra special yet still informal and friendly for all ages. The four 30-minute concerts begin on June 25 with outstanding performers who have ties to Pittsburgh. \nGalbreath Chapel is at the south end of the church by the office entrance\, across the street from the farmers’ market. Accessible parking is outside the office entrance. \nIn 2027\, Westminster Organ Summer will return to the sanctuary and the beloved Austin organ – with a new console – ready to serve the church and community for decades to come. \nOrgan Summer is a musical outreach to the community sponsored by Music & Arts at Westminster Presbyterian Church and the generosity of the performers. All organists donate their time and talent. A freewill offering defrays their expenses.
