DESCRIPTION:Fun – Fellowship – Physical Activity\nWestminster Softball Returns in mid- April. The team has a core of players returning but is always looking for players age 16 and up. The games are played at Chartiers Park in Bridgeville on weeknights from April to August. There is a 14 game schedule with at least two more in the playoffs. Westminster has had a team for many years but has not won the championship in decades. This could be the year with your help. DESCRIPTION:A fun small group experience which places about 8 to 10 people together for a meal or an activity! The group decides which time and date works best for them. The first meeting is all about getting to know people you may know or may not know in our church. This opportunity is open to anyone who enjoys meeting\, conversing and usually eating. Meals are usually decided by the host and members of the group are encouraged to supply a side or dessert. If cooking seems overwhelming to you\, take out or meeting at a restaurant is definitely an option. Some examples in the past have been pizza and game nights\, taco night\, a restaurant and bowling night. The goal is to get together and have fun. DESCRIPTION:Please join the Westminster Walkabouts for a tour of Saint Anthony Chapel\, located on Troy Hill\, which overlooks the Allegheny River on Pittsburgh’s North Side\, and is home to the largest collection of Christian relics in the world outside of the Vatican. This Shrine\, dedicated to the “Wonder-Worker\,” St. Anthony of Padua\, houses a vast collection of relics and has been designated a Historical Landmark by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation. \nWe will also view a set of life-size Stations of the Cross – these priceless Stations were carved of wood by artists of the Royal Ecclesiastical Art Establishment of Mayer and Company in Munich\, Germany. \nCost: $5 per person\nRSVP to Deborah Waller (412-760-7523); attendance numbers are limited.\nEarly dinner afterwards at Scratch & Co.
